TLC provides great outdoor summer
camps that promote personal growth and Christian character. Our camps focus on leadership, problem solving and team building
skills.
Creative activities and games work on problem solving and demonstrate the importance of working together
as a team. Campers are encouraged to come up with a strategy to solve the problem and carry through with the solution. The
challenges are in group settings rather than individual participation. These activities provide groundwork and solution skills
for “real life” problems associated with peers, school, etc.
Each camper is exposed to a variety of fun activities, designed for their success and to build self
esteem. Activities such as games, sports, hiking and swimming are all part of the program. Volunteer mentors
model Christ’s love as they come alongside teens for a one-of-a-kind weekend adventure.
